The final 50

If someone had told me 10 years ago that I would have been in all but 50 countries of the world today, I would have declared that person crazy. But that’s how it is. 147 countries are done, 50 remain. One more country and I have visited 75% of all countries in the world.

Here is a list of the remaining 50 countries. Behind the name of the country I have added the degree of difficulty.

* = easy
** = medium
*** = difficult

The rating is a subjective evaluation based on the security situation of the country, how easy it is to get the visa (if a visa is necessary at all) and how remote the country is.
